    Project Overview

    Campaign Landscape

    This portfolio project draws inspiration from the vibrant city of London, but it is created solely for educational and entertainment purposes. It showcases my individual efforts and creative ideas in conceptualizing a city rebranding strategy for London, exploring how to capture the city’s essence and heritage in a fresh and engaging way.

    The Idea

    After looking at many different cities, I chose London, England as my city to rebrand. I did a deep search into the history of London and what makes London so special so that I was able to make a brand that truly represents that city.

    London is currently trying to gain back the amount of travelers they had before covid so with this in mind I knew they needed a rebrand. When most people think of london, it’s the iconic red and colors to represent their flag. While this is known by most, I felt like it was still missing something. I aimed to keep the idea that london is not only an elegant place but a very fun and welcoming one as well. I chose colors that I saw represented throughout the many London boroughs.

    The Execution

    In order to show how unique and inviting London is as a city, I first started by recreating the brand logo to look classy and fun at the same time. I then made variations that would be used in different places. After finding lots of inspiration I was able to decide on a suitable color palette. After making multiple variations and color combinations to everything I kept looking up more inspiration photos to keep adding more elements to the city branding. The last thing that I did to really bring everything together was to place my illustrations into mockups.
